Pro Kabaddi League 2021 Auction
The eighth season of the Pro Kabaddi League will begin in July and is supposed to be around us for 13 weeks. It will follow the same format that it followed the preceding season. The auction is supposed to take place on 8th and 9th June, respectively, with around 442 players up for grabs in the season 8 PKL Auction.
Season 7 guidelines are to be adhered to for curating a team which might be followed in the PKL8 Auction.
- The players in a team should be 18-25 in number in PKL Auction 2021
- A team can rope in up to 3 players from the Future Kabaddi Heroes program
- If the team already is loaded with 4 Elite retained personnel, they can use their ‘Final Bid Match’ option in the PKL Auction 2021
- If a team has retained less than 4 Elite personnel, they are allowed to use 2 ‘Final Bid Match’ options in the Pro Kabaddi Season 8 auction.
- The number of foreign players can vary from any number ranging from 2 to 4 in Pro Kabaddi Season 8 Auction (PKL Auction 2021).
- The purse available to each team to conduct the PKL Auction is 4 crores INR.

- In last year’s Pro, Kabaddi League Auction Bengal Warriors retained Baldev Singh and Maninder Singh.
- Dabang Delhi KC retained Meraj Sheykh and Joginder Narwal
- Bengaluru Bulls retained Rohit Kumar, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat, and Ashish Singh
- Gujarat Fortune Giants retained Sachin Tanwar and Sunil Kumar
- Haryana Steelers retained Kuldeep Singh and Vikas Khandala
- Jaipur Pink Panthers retained two players in the form of Deepak Niwas Hooda and Sandeep Kumar Dhull
- Patna Pirates retained three players in the Pro Kabaddi League Auction (PKL Auction) and they are Pardeep Narwal, Vikas Jaglan, Jawahar Dagar.
- Tamil Thalaivas retained three players in the Pro Kabaddi League Auction, which include Ajay Thakur, Manjit Chhillar, and Victor Onyango Obeiro
- Telugu Titans retained three players- Armaan, Farhad Rahimi Milaghardan, and Krushna Madane.
- UP Yoddhas retained their stellar pairing of Amit Narwal and Sachin Kumar
- U Mumba retained their MVP Fazel Atrachali, Rajaguru Subramanian, and Arjun Deshwal
