The T10 League in Abu Dhabi had just recently concluded when in no time talks of our very own Baazigar Yuvraj Singh joining the upcoming Qatar T10 League started taking the rounds. Players like Angelo Matthews, Mohammad Hafeez & Kamran Akmal will also be a part of this 10 day series.
Yuvi has always been a pick of the fantasy cricket arena when it comes to the shorter format of the game. At the recent T10 league Yuvi gave us a huge nostalgia in the knocks that he played. In the game against the Qalandars Yuvi scored a quick 14(6) with 2 trademark sixes off the spinner which were a treat to the eye for every Yuvi fan. The crowd, the fans, the commentary box, even the opposition praised those 2 iconic shots for sixes. Yuvi was back indeed!
4. 16*(10) and That Iconic Leg Glance
The match-winner that he’s been throughout his career for the Indian Cricket Team, Yuvi scored a vital knock of 16 not out in just 10 balls and gave Najibullah Zadran a much needed partnership to take the game away from the opposition in order to reach the elimination round of the tournament. Remember the 2007 T20 world cup six off Brett Lee? Yes the one that went 119m! Yuvi hit a similar shot and rolled back the years with just one leg glance.
