“The wall” of the Indian test team, Rahul Dravid is now officially appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed Dravid will take over from the New Zealand bilateral series starting from 17th November 2021.

“It is an absolute honour to be appointed as the new Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team and I am really looking forward to this role,” Dravid said in the BCCI press release.

India won 2 matches out of 4 T20 matches. India lost against Pakistan by 10 wickets and then lost by New Zealand on 31st October 2021. It’s been 8 long years since India won the T20 World Cup.
