79 vs Mumbai Indians

79 is the lowest score by the Chennai Super Kings in its franchise history. This match took place on 5th May 2013 at Wankhede against the Mumbai Indians. They were scoring at a run rate of 5.15 and were bowled out in 15.2 overs and they were chasing a score of 140. 

97 vs Mumbai Indians

Second on the list of CSK lowest scores in IPL is against Mumbai Indians as well. They were bowled out for 97 in 16 overs at a run rate of 6.06 and the match took place on 12th May 2022 at Wankhede Stadium.

109 vs Rajasthan Royals

Against the Rajasthan Royals, CSK was able to score just 109 runs and were bowled out on the 19th over. The match took place at Sawai Man Singh Stadium on 4th May 2008 and they scored at a rate of 5.73 runs per over. 

109 vs Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians feature in the list of CSK lowest score in IPL for the third time. This time too they were bowled out for 109 runs in just 17.4 overs scoring at a rate of 6.16 runs per over. This match took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 26 April 2019. They were chasing a score of 155 runs and fell short of it.

110/8 vs Delhi Daredevils

Delhi Daredevils also makes an entry into the list of CSK lowest score in IPL history. CSK ended up scoring 110 runs at a run rate of 5.50 after losing eight wickets and they were able to bat the entire 20 overs. The match took place at the Feroz Shah Kotla on 10th April, 2012. 

112/8 vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team was able to restrict the CSK side for 112 runs and picked up 8 wickets. They were scoring at a run rate of 5.60 after having played 20 overs. They were chasing a score of 127 and could not get there. The match took place on 21st May 2008 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium 

112/9 vs Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals make their second entry into the list of CSK lowest score in IPL. This time they restricted the CSK side to 112 runs and dismissed 9 batsmen and scored at a rate of 5.60 runs per over. The match was played on 15th April 2010 at Chepauk. 

112 vs Mumbai Indians

CSK’s struggle against the Mumbai Indians has been perennial by now. This time, they were able to bowl out the CSK side for 112 runs after having played 19.5 overs. They had scored at a run rate of 5.64. The match took place at Chepauk on 4th April 2012. 

114/4 vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Lastly on the list of CSK lowest scores in IPL is their match against KKR. The Kolkata Knight Riders were able to stop them at a score of 114 while picking up 4 wickets in the process after having played 20 overs. The CSK side scored at a rate of 5.70 runs per over. The match took place on 7th May 2011 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
