This is a normal feat for players that have harnessed the art by following a tough practice regime and experience garnered over years. However, sometimes, they push themselves and outdo their own records.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma was touted to be the Great Sachin Tendulkar‘s long-destined successor. Rohit Sharma’s 118 off 61 balls against Sri Lanka in 2017 has been the T20I record for Most Balls Faced in Single T20I match innings by any Indian cricketer and that puts him in the 3rd spot in T20I Records.

Hazratullah Zazai

Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai occupies the spot for the 2nd-highest T20I Record for Most Balls faced in a single T20I Match. An unbeaten record of 162 off just 62 balls powered Afghanistan to 278 for 3 in the second T20I against Ireland in Dehradun in 2019, making the T20I record for the Second-longest T20I innings to date. Zazai’s innings included a T20I record Sixteen Sixes. In August 2018, in his first match against Ireland, the batter scored the fastest T20I Record 50 by an Afghan cricketer, in just 22 balls.

Aaron Finch

The tough built, aggressive scoring aussie-man, Aaron Finch holds the T20I record for the Most Balls Faced in single T20I Match in the year 2018. Finch scored 172 off 76 balls against Zimbabwe in Harare in 2018, also the highest individual T20I score in history to pocket the T20I record of longest individual innings in T20 Internationals (T20Is). He has twice held the record for the highest score in a T20I, 172 against Zimbabwe, surpassing his 156 that he took off England in 2013 – an innings that included 14 sixes.
Hazratullah scored the second-highest individual innings in the T20I record. He fell ten short of Aaron Finch’s record. Finch and Zazai are the only two players to score in excess of 150 in T20Is.
