How do the teams stack up?
Royal Challengers Bangalore
The start of IPL hasn’t been going really good for the Royal Challengers and they are hoping to win some points. RCB will work on their bowling for it hadn’t been consistent and their death-over bowling is substandard. Kohli’s form is heartening but de Villiers and Sarfraz Khan should work their fingers down. The selection of Corey Anderson in the last match was surprising and he might be replaced by Colin de Grandhomme. Skipper Kohli will also try swapping Chris Waokes with Tim Southee.
Probable XI: Quinton de Kock (WK), Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Colin de Grandhomme, Washington Sundar, Tim Southee/ Chris Woakes, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj
Players to watch out for: Virat Kohli, Umesh Yadav
Delhi Daredevils
Delhi Daredevils have a fighting chance of winning against Bangalore. While Rishabh Pant has been consistent with the bat, captain Gambhir is yet to find his form. Delhi expects Jason Roy to bounce back the way he smashed Mumbai. Rahul Tewatia looks promising with the ball and he is complemented by pacer Trent Boult. Vijay Shankar hasn’t made any impressive strikes and he could get replaced by Gurkeerat Singh Mann.
Probable XI: Gautam Gambhir (C), Jason Roy, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Glenn Maxwell, Vijay Shankar/ Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Daniel Christian, Rahul Tewatia, Shahbaz Nadeem, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan
Players to watch out for: Rishabh Pant, Rahul Tewatia
