Sri Lanka
Despite losing the ODI series, Sri Lanka is high on confidence after a brilliant victory in the last two ODI matches. Dinesh Chandimal has been brought into the playing XI in place of Niroshan Dickwella. Binura Fernando and Jeffrey Vandersay have also been included in the squad. Sri Lanka’s batting lineup can still brush up. Angelo Mathews is in a good form with the bat with a score of 97 not out in the last ODI. The bowling unit is in a stellar form, particularly the spinners. Akila Dhananjaya will be a threat to the Proteas batsmen along with Lahiru Kumara.
South Africa
South Africa who held the upper hand in the first half of the ODI series were bamboozled in the last two games. The team will hope against hope to make a better comeback in the T20 tomorrow. In the absence of Faf du Plessis, JP Duminy will captain the South African team, like Quinton de Kock led the side in ODI. Quinton de Kock and Hashim are in great form having scored runs in the ODI series; however, Amla needs to revive after going for a duck in the last match. Skipper Duminy, player of the ODI series is also in good form with the bat and ball. The bowling performance is commendable and needs to sustain the same in the T20 game.
