Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings won a nerve-breaking qualifier match against SRH to enter the finals. While the entire batting lineup faltered against SRH’s bowling, Faf du Plessis won the game for CSK. Chennai’s batting unit need to pull up their sleeves and hit out of the park to win their 3 rd IPL championship. Ambati Rayudu, the Super Kings’ star striker needs to redress his faults and bounce back strong. CSK’ s bowling is pretty potent on paper. However, death over bowling is still not looking good. The squad is unlikely to be changed.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost all of their matches against CSK this season. SRH’s bowling unit has been the talk of the cricket town. However, their batting is a reason for concern. Wriddhiman Saha who returned to the squad played a decent inning with Dhawan. SRH’s middle order looks weak; Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan must brace themselves. Rashid Khan has been SRH’s revelation. He has proved his skills on the field with the bat, ball and in fielding. Sandeep Sharma, who was replaced by Khaleel Ahmed, is likely to join the squad.
