DD vs CSK Match Playing 11
Delhi Daredevils
Delhi will open with Prithvi Shaw and Jason Roy although Roy has been misfiring. Along with Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, DD would like to try Manjot Kalra in the middle order. Kalra was another sensational player in the U-19 World Cup. Jayant Yadav could come in place of Vijay Shankar to prove his skills. Spinner Sandeep Lamichhane had a very good debut against RCB. Junior Dala and Harshal Patel were expensive in the last match. They got to buckle down and set the pace with Trent Boult.
Probable 11: Prithvi Shaw, Jason Roy, Shreyas Iyer (C), Rishabh Pant (WK), Manjot Kalra, Jayant Yadav, Abhishek Sharma Sandeep Lamichhane, Junior Dala, Trent Boult, Harshal Patel
Players to watch out for: Rishabh Pant, Sandeep Lamichhane, Abhishek Sharma
Chennai Super Kings
Chennai’s opening partnership between Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu is their key potency. Suresh Raina has been inconsistent since the start. He will hope to redress his skills in this match against Delhi. MS Dhoni’s form is an added advantage for the Kings. The return of Deepak Chahar has strengthened CSK’s bowling unit. However, Chennai’s bowling unit still needs to brace up and deliver their best on field. Having qualified for the playoffs, Chennai will use this match to work on their shortcomings. The squad is unlikely to be changed.
Probable 11: Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu,Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni (C & WK), Sam Billings, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, David Willey, Harbhajan Sharma, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar
Players to watch out for: Ambati Rayudu, Deepak Chahar
