Adelaide Strikers
Adelaide Strikers is a professional franchise-based T20 team that plays in the BBL and represents Southern Australia. Their home ground is the Adelaide Oval stadium. The Southern Redbacks were the precursor to the Adelaide Strikers and the team was formed in 2011 to play BBL.
The Adelaide Strikers Team is coached by former Australian pacer Jason Gillespie and is captained by Travis Head. Over the years, the Adelaide Strikers have boasted of several star players like Keiron Pollard, and Johan Botha and icons like Mahela Jayawardene.

Rashid Khan
The Afghanistan national team has gifted the cricketing world with a lot of gems and Rashid Khan has been the best of them. He has been a journeyman for most of his cricketing life and has delivered wherever he has gone.
In the IPL, Rashid Khan has been an integral part of the Hyderabad franchise and with Adelaide Strikers, he seems to have a similar role. His unique delivery action coupled with his control over the spin makes him one of the most dangerous spinners to play the game. Besides, he has always been electric in the field and is never afraid to hit a few balls out of the park.
Alex Carey
The modern game has been very rewarding for wicket-keeping batsmen. Alex Carey’s tryst with BBL ended up with him getting a consistent run of matches with the Australian cricket team. His value in the BBL as a batsman was even more evident in the BBL 07 edition of the tournament. He ended the tournament as the leading run-scorer of the Adelaide Strikers Team after scoring 443 runs.
However, time has passed and today, Carey is a much more mature batsman and paces his innings differently. His form will be very instrumental in Adelaide Strikers' success.
Peter Siddle
Half a decade ago, Peter Siddle was an indispensable figure in the Australian test side and his fierce bowling caused a lot of visiting teams some serious problems. Today, he is no more a regular member of the Australian setup and his pace has dwindled. However, his quality of making balls skid off the surface still remains one of his biggest strengths, and in the 2019-20 edition of the BBL, he ended the tournament as the top wicket-taker with 19 wickets.
